This version should fix a few cosmectic things left in the
New drag-n-drop routines. also I've added some comments to
the .Bat files, this should help to solve any problems with
FILE_ID.DIZ support (PLEASE report any problems you have..)
March 26, 1994 Version 1.25
This release should be pretty stable. It will detect an older
INI and automaticly update it. The FILE_ID.DIZ is complete, the
import and export should work properly. Please make sure you
have the correct (new) bat/Pif files in your PBBS directory.
Also rewrote the Search for FileName, it now accepts Wildcards,
i.e. *,?,[charlist],[!charlist], it will expand all of these
and select the files that match (in the files list box).
March 17, 1994 Version 1.24.10 beta
First beta release after adding Multi-File Drag-n-Drop, New
Description Editor with FILE_ID.DIZ import/export (Export not functional
in the prerelease.) Fixed Bugs in the Dir Creation and deletion for the
FILE_ID.DIZ Support, also change the .BAT file used (should take care of
the temp dir problems). Made a couple cosmetic changes.
February 11, 1994 Version 1.23
Well Still fixing bugs in the edit description code, this time I
fixed the bug that caused the first character of the desription to be over
written by the some other character. Also (here's the biggie) I added
support for FILE_ID.DIZ, now anytime you add a record PFLM will search
the file for a FILE_ID.DIZ, if found it will be used for the desc, if not
found you will be put in the Edit Description window to add the desc. I
also rewrote the Drag-n-Drop Begin_Drag code in preperation for adding
multi file Drag and Drop, look for this in the next version (sorry it
did'nt make it in this one, but I'm very busy and I had to get sick for
a couple days.)

With this version, I fixed the Bug that Deleted this first line of
the Description following the one being edited when you press the Edit Desc
button. Also Added option to place DragDropped files at Beginning of dest
file list. added Option to Shell to external program when you double click
on a file name in the file names list. aftyer completing my current project
I will be doing an update to the help file (hopefully, sometime in march.)
November 19, 1993 Version 1.20
Well This compile fixes a few bugs encountered with the compile 1.10
and also fixes a bug in the ListInfo Variable which creep in undetected, this
should solve the problem with PFLM loseing it's listinfo when switch child
forms. I also added the CTL3D.DLL please place this in the Windows\System
directory.

This is the First Compile with VB 3.0, If you encounter any problems,
please contact me A.S.A.P., thank you. The Display List Button Will not
Display files larger than approximently 25K-30K, I will fix this in a future
upgade, until this time, please use an editor to view these files (With the
Edit file list button).
September 4, 1993 Version 1.02
Here's the Matianance Release, In this release, I have attempted
to fix the File Open error some have encountered. I have also fixed the bug
with the Add Record dialog box, when called from the Search Menu. Fixed
Command Line Bug, PBBSFMGR will now read The Command line properly, If there
is not a valid *.Dat fileName, Then it will give you the Open Dialog box. also
Fixed a Bug with Empty (or None Existing File List), PBBSFMGR will Now prompt
you to create the file list, If you choose YES, it creates a Text (Using the
Header created from the Configuration window.) file with the Path\Name you
have configured in the Forum Setup, If you choose NO then it will fill the
list array with a single header line and continue as normal. Also fixed a bug
in the Save routine that allowed PBBSFMGR to write a line of CHR$(0) to the
disk. Also rewrote the Display File List Routines, Now uses a single text box.
August 4, 1993 Verssion 1.0
Well This is the First True Release of PBBSFMGR, I hope it goes
smooth. With this version I have made two bug fixes (0.82, 0.83) which
where released for a very short time. They fixed a bad subscript error and
an error with the Close/Save dialog box, and I rewote the Open Routines to
fill any empty records in the Child Window array. I will probably be
releasing a Maitiance update in a few weeks, (after a couple of weeks in
the hands of the public, I'm sure there will be some problems, I will fix
any of these in this update, so If you encounter a Problem, please notify
me A.S.A.P., so I may and it to the list of "to be Fixed" things.
July 31, 1993 Version 0.81 Beta
Fixed one small Bug that would skip a file area if it was the last area in a forum and there was no CR/LF at the end of the DAT file.
July 29, 1993 Version 0.80 Beta
Well This version Fixes the last two known bugs (And hopefully the last two <g>). It also add a Full help file which is Context senstive, Meaning the F1 key will place you in the right topic (Which ever area you have the Focus on), Also work with all menu items.

This is an update to fix a "File not in list." Error from some
new code to always leave a filename selected (with focus). I changed the
colors around some. I hope this is the last version before release, I would
like to get a help file at least started soon.

Well as you can see I skipped Version 0.75a, I had some problems
creep into the ListData Array. Found them and now the Insert and Delete
Record routines are rock solid, Added two (2) new items to the Search menu,
the first one being a search for file records (Names) not in the list, and
the secound being search for files not in the directory. Finialy found the
bug that was causeing the Subscript out of range when you moved the last
record in a list. Fixed a few other samll bugs.
July 17,1993 Version: 0.74b
Finialy prepration before the 2.5 release of PBBS. Added lines around
the combo boxes and the File box to make them look 3D. Added code to support
PBBS registration And/Or other registration (from me). Added Error checking
on all File Reads. I added the Code to add the Restricted Uploads to the list.
Fixed a Bug that Made PBBSFMGR allways read the FILELIST.DAT file for Forum
#0 no matter which forum was selected, I.E. only read the file list from
forum #0.

This is Mostly just a Update to add the ability to read the Path to
the DAT file from the command line. Also tried to fix a bug where all the
forms where not unloading.

I added some Search routines, both FileName Search, and Text Search.
A Also tried to fix the Problem brian was reporting with the Drag-Drop (Was
using a Global Varaible for the Current Record marker when I should have be
using a Form level varaible). Fixed a bug with the External Editor reading
the File List from Disk instead of Memory. all should be pretty stable by now.

PBBSFMGR will now be included with the PBBS package, which means it
is no longer sharware. But the Reg. fee is only $10.00, and any Registered
PBBS owner gets a Free Reg. Number. Well I added the abilitiy to shell to
an editor of your choice. Fixed a bug that inserted a NULL line at the
begining of the file list when saveing. Fixed a couple small logic errors
(Typo's <g>Opps). And added the code for the shareware support.

Well Fixed a Few Bugs, Fixed the Drag and Drop, it Know Moves the
File/Record to the window it was dropped on. Fixed the INI routines. Fixed
a few cosmetic things. Fixed the File List Display, it Know supports File
List as large as you have memory for, The File List Load Speed When
Displaying the List is Now like it should be. Fixed the Edit Description Bug,
It know OverWrites the Correct entry in the list. Found Another Bug when
adding a File to the List, It inserts the itself into the list 1 line later
than it should (ie. in the first line of another recorod). I replaced some
of the Basic code with calls to the Win API, which increased the Speed.
June 30,1993
Here I am agian. I have Fixed a couple of small bugs, I have found a
couple more bugs that I will fix in the next release, (One is when you edit
a Desc. it doesn't remove the old entry in the list.) I will also be working
on the drag and drop a little more on the next release, I want it to remove
the file draged from the originial file list, I'm thinking of addind some
spin buttons to cycle throught the records. I'm also think of allow editing
and saveing of the Display file list window...Let me know what you think.

Well The Dll Loading problem is because I have a line in the start
up code that loads in VBRUN200.DLL and Apartently some systems do not have
it in the same place (\Windows\System\VBRUN200.DLL) as my system, So I
removed the line and it will allow windows to load the DLL for it now..

Hello, Well It's almost code complete. The drag and drop is
working, the Save is working and most of th bugs are fixed,
the Edit Descrtption is still strange, I can't seem to get-
Around the word-wrap, it ads and takes away spaces an New-
Line characters at it's own chioce, hard to track..Anyway
Give this version (.035a) a try and let me know of any ideas
or bugs and I'll get them in before the finial version.

Well Here's the third installmentto the project. It's getting better
There's a lot of things fixed in this one (The Drag and drop is
still not complete , though it's allmost.)The Delete on the Edit
menu is working, I added a Display list Button (Which is SLOW),
The Edit Description is work, It's a little strange due to the
word-wrap in the textBox(If anyone knpows where to find a better
TextBox control for VB for Windows let me know a.s.a.p.).I still
have to write the Save routines but that should be easy. I
cleaned a lot of the code up and made it a little more stable,
all should be a little more effcient.

Hello Again, This is the secound installment to this project.. Take a look a

This version loads all data in an diplays it properly, I hav almost
worked the bugs out of the Edit Descriton routines, The Drag and drop Is
partialy functional (Try draging a Name from the File list box(to drag it, it
has to be selected previously), and draging it to the 3D FileName Field.), The
MDI is Fully Functional And the Screen Design is about finished....The Text
boxes at the bottom of the child window is about 90% functional (Try setting
the cursor on a line that has a FileName at the begining and then perss
enter.)... Let Me Know What you think..

Hello All:
I'm at it again, I got board so I went back to the drawing board
and started writting code for another PBBS utility and this is the
Begining of What is going to be a Complete PBBS File List Manager,
including Drag and Drop, MDI (Multiple - Document - Interface, already
implmented), And could possiable turn into the Main starting area for an
intergrated Utility package, File List Manager, User DataBase Editor,
and a Forums Manager..
At this point in the Development, The program loads all data and
the MDI is fully funtional, All that is left is to Draw the Record fields
and and the code to Display/Update code. Give it a good look and let me
know of any ideas that come to mind and i'll make any changes before
I release it to the public, (Hopefuly by the end of the weekend).(Note:
It's the end of july and I was read through this and seen this, HAAAh The
program is now included with PBBS and I still have not released it to the
public. as soon as Russ releases PBBS 2.5, It will go public.)
